By the time we were able to get Brynn into the dr. for her check up she was basically 12 1/2 months old. Not that it matters but I liked having their stats being all at the same age. But she is technically a little older than the other kids were at their check ups. And what I find surprising is even though she is older she is a lot smaller than the other kids at their one year check up. Both Makenna and Kason were about 20 lbs. Give or take the ounces. But our little peanut Brynn was barely 17 lbs! She is teeny compared to the other two kids! So here are all of here measurements.
Weight - 17.11 lbs 10.53%
Length - 28 inches 10.02%
Head - 17 inches 9.19%
Isn't she so small! She is so small that the doctor actually came in and re-measured her two more times trying to get correct measurements because they were really off compared to her previous measurements at 9 months. But he said she is okay for now and hopefully at her 15 month check up she has grown some. And I really hope she's gained some weight so I can get her into a real car seat and not the baby/infant carrier.
Also the doctor was concerned with her development because she isn't very mobile. She just learned to crawl by her birthday but isn't going up stairs and isn't any where near walking. Apparently she was 1 point from failing the questionnaire they make you fill out each time you go. So hopefully she starts to develop and improve so we don't have to go to Kids on the Move. All our kids have taken their time to walk so I wasn't too worried about her lack of mobility but now that the doctor said something it has made me more concerned. But we'll just have to work with her and get her going!
Why do they have to grow up so fast? I want her to stay my baby forever.
