Back in April we went to the Motor Cross event at Rice Eccles Stadium. We thought it would be fun to do something more boyish for Kason. Poor kid is stuck in between two girls and ends up doing way to many girly things. But he doesn't mind and he's a good sport about it. Even when he's being dragged around to all the dance recitals. So we left Brynn at my moms house and we took Makenna and Kason up to Salt Lake with us. It was supposed to be a surprise but Makenna guessed where we were going before we got there. The kids picked McDonald's for dinner before hand and then we went over to the show. The kids loved it and had lots of fun although they did some fireworks right at the beginning that we were not expecting and they scared Makenna. She jumped so bad that she about fell off the bleachers. We were sitting next to Cam and Savannah and between me and Savannah we caught her before she fell. So I think she was just worried the rest of the night about fireworks going off randomly so she didn't enjoy the race. But Kason on the other hand loved it! He loved watching them, he loved the noise, he liked the fire that they shot out of the Monster sign. It was a fun night. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of us but Wes did get a couple of the race. So here is the proof that we were there!
And on the way to the car afterwards we got lost. We even left the show before it was over so we could beat the crowds and make it home to get Brynn and put her in bed. But after walking around for an hour we finally found our car. It was a long walk and Weston was definitely not in a good mood. But we had a fun night up until then and now next time I want to go see some freestyle events!
